Gungnir, also referred to as the "Spear of Heaven", is the god Odin's most favored weapon. It is an ancient weapon crafted by the dwarves and made of the Uru metal which was unique to the Asgardian Dimension. It was during one of Loki's travels to the land of the dwarves that he came upon this spear and presented it to his father as a gift.
